Bernia, DH Ombría de Bernia
This is a fairly unknown descent that many consider unreachable. In truth, getting to the start is quite straightforward from the southern side of Bernia, following a long forest trail.
The trail leads to a small forest path that takes you to the mountain pass where the descent begins. The climb isn't too steep, and with a bit of skill, you should be able to stay on the bike the whole way.
Once on the ridge, the terrain becomes rockier and the descent kicks off.
The first section is quite rough and technical, but doesn’t present any major difficulties.
The singletrack then opens onto a wider and easier trail — but one where you can pick up a lot of speed if you’re not careful.
