Bernia, Senda del Fort
Very long descent, but without any particularly technical sections. The main challenge is the muscle fatigue that builds up over time.
The trail has been recently renovated: some parts have been modified to help water flow, which has created a few ruts.
There are some steps at the beginning, but they’re short and easy to ride over.
It’s important to ride carefully to avoid damaging the trail — watch out for skidding and try not to displace the stones marking the path.
The easiest access is via the trail that climbs up to the Fort from Cases de Bernia. It’s a beautiful climb, though you might have to push the bike a bit over the pass (or not 😉).
