La Roca de la Salve
The Roca de la Salve, located in Senija, is a monolith with a historical inscription that recalls the ritual of the "Riberers".
This group of workers, before embarking on their journey to the Ribera del Xúquer, would gather in front of the rock to pray a Salve to the Virgin of the Forsaken, seeking protection.
This act, full of tradition, was part of the local festivities, especially in May, as a thanks to the Virgin for her intercession during the cholera epidemic of 1885.
